The completed hull is removed from the mold.
The two-toned hull is now carefully lifted out of the mold. The excess material is then carefully trimmed away to ensure a precise fit in the bonding areas of the hull and deck.

The Deck is Ready To Bond to the Hull
A bulkhead at the forward end of the cockpit has also been installed to add rigidity to the hull.

The hull and deck are bonded together.
The hull is placed back in the mold during this process to ensure that there is absolutely no distortion of the hull or deck during the bonding process. You may see the excess hull, to be trimmed off, extending beyond the deck.

  Deck hardware is installed.
The Wyliecat 17 is now out of the mold, and most of the deck hardware has been installed.
